"What I Wished I'd Known About Writing Five Years Ago" was the featured theme for our Eighth Annual Conference hosted at Lazlo's Restaurant in Lincoln.
In between various short presentations, members and guests socialized, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and listened to an 'eggshilarating' inspirational story on writing.

NRW members and guests enjoyed their Sixth Annual Conference at Lazlo's Restaurant in Lincoln. The luncheon's primary program highlighted the first four Lifetime Television Nora Roberts movies and included a comparative discussion on their corresponding books.

THANK YOU to Sheila from the Lincoln Yoga Center for her prize contribution to our recent August Conference. Attendees and other Eat, Pray, Love fans are reminded of the special August 13th movie event the yoga studio is organizing. The fun starts at 1:30. More information can be found below!

Yogs friends may join Sheila and her group for a movie outing at the Grand Theatre (1:30ish)...then head over to the Lincoln Yoga center at 2127 Winthrop for yoga and meditation. The rosewood mala (prayer) beads and shawl will be yours to keep. Hungry participants will then walk to the nearby Cafe Italia for dinner. Cost for the movie, class, beads, shawl, and dinner is $60. Purchase of the beads and shawl is optional and will reduce cost of package by $20.

The Wild Rose Press was asked to supply the paperback books for the set of the movie 'RED'. Although it's not certain if any of the books will be actually seen on screen, the group was thrilled to be a part of this exciting adventure!
The Nebraska Romance Writers thank WRP editor Lori Graham for attending our 2009 conference and congratulate the publisher on this brush with Hollywood!
