For the last three years, a group from our chapter has taken a weekend retreat to spur our writing. Review our 2007 Photo Page, if you wish, too.
"We really did get a lot done. LoRee, the Great Organizer, set up Plotting sessions for each of us, allotting 2 hours for each one.
By the end of Saturday afternoon, we’d given each of us a new start and an interesting perspective. Lucy read my Freddy book for me. And when news of the approaching storm was confirmed Saturday evening, Lucy and Jeanne headed back to Lincoln.
The Hotel Wilber was quite crowded, and noisy parties were held Sat aft and evening, but we had a little niche to set up our stuff in, and Brenda had a large room with a day bed for overflow seating, so we managed quite well.
Brenda S declared it was the most productive of all the Wilber retreats to date.
Lucy was delighted with the dynamics of the plotting sessions. Everyone contributed, we all had different ideas, but when a “keeper” was tossed out—everyone’s face lit up."

1. It's always nice to see your organization's name on a sign. Especially in pretty script and with lovely rose petals. A great way to start off the weekend!
