Noted author and speaker, Judith Arnold was our honored guest October 27th and 28th at the Lincoln Women's Club for our 4th Annual Retreat.

Aspiring writers from Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa enjoyed presentations on self-editing, plot conflicts and career managment. Check out some candids below of the event.

 

 

1. Thanks fo the generosity of authors from around the country, our goody bags were full of books, pens, notepads, matches, bookmarks, candy, dried fruit snacks, tea bags, and various other treasures. Our humble thanks goes to authors and organizations who donated these items!

2. Attendees show off book selections from their goody bags and then shuffle over to the "bonus book" table to review other titles.

3. Early arrivals converse before the Saturday morning session begins..

4. Judith chats with the lone male attendee at the Nebraska Romance Writer conference.

11. Diana gets jealous of Melissa's above picture and gets a snapshot with Judith as well. Okay, I made that up. Diana is not jealous...but she does like Judith and is pleased to pose for a quick photo, too.
