Chapter #190 - Region 2...an official chapter of Romance Writers of America

Throughout the existence of Nebraska Romance Writers our groups has been privileged to hold among its membership several published authors. The body of work these authors represent is most impressive.

This month, our featured author of note is Jeanne Kern, who also doubles as a well-loved actress. Read more about about Jeanne below.

Jeanne Kern

Jeanne Kern is half the writing team of Jeanne Bruce, author of TRIPS AND WHALES AND PUPPY DOG TALES.

Kidnapped by her well-meaning family and sent on a surprise vacation to a whale-watching camp in Baja California, Mexico, workaholic veterinarian Morgan West falls in love with the beauty of the Baja Peninsula—and with handsome engineer Hud McGuire.

Introduced by Neez, an omnivorous basset hound, and pushed together by Jo and Bill, a pair of aging, hot-air-ballooning nudists, Morgan and Hud engage drastically different lifestyles and attitudes. Together they face a major challenge—rescuing a beached and wounded baby gray whale.

Can a "people-person" find true happiness with an "animal-person?" Can the mismatched couple save the whales, one at a time? Can they stop Neez from eating everything in sight? Morgan and Hud embark on a quest to discover whether love really is made of Trips and Whales and Puppy Dog Tales.
